Please submit three to five text objects at a time as either a Word doc or text file to editor @ txtobjx dot com. There is no specific word limit, but text objects tend to be brief. Include a one- or two-line bio about yourself. Simultaneous submissions are fine; please inform us if a piece has been accepted elsewhere. In submitting, you agree to grant TXTOBJX one-time web publication rights, but you retain all other rights to your work. Response time is generally a month.

To the extent that TXTOBJX has a particular aesthetic bandwidth, its editorial tastes favor text objects that have a vital tension, and a perhaps paradoxical sense of unity in their fragmentedness that, ultimately, implicates or invokes a broader truth.

When accepted for publication, bylined text objects will appear on the top level of the website until another is published. Publication, to be frank, occurs sporadically and erratically. After that, the text object sinks into the shuffle and is accessible only randomly via the “nxtobjx” link.
