Letter

Hello! I hope you are well today. I am.
Your daughter still talks to me like this: Blink blink.
She has an expensive ring that I did not buy her.
I believe she bought it for herself. Such is life.
I try not to worry about these things.
But you know sometimes these things are all I have.
I shall miss them when they’re gone.
I will write this on paper for you, deliver it myself.
Sometimes she tries to read what I have written.
It does not end well for me, then.
